The estate of Martha & John Weber, long-time Hood River residents, has established a scholarship fund with the Hood River County Education Foundation. The Martha & John Weber fund offers one scholarship of $1,000 to a student who is pursuing their second year of education at a community college or trade/technical school.
CRITERIA
- Student can only use funds to attend either Community College or Trade School
- Cumulative college GPA of 3.0 or higher
WEIGHTED SCORING
Students will be scored according to the % shown:
- Letter of recommendation (33%)
- Personal Statement (33%)
- Financial need as demonstrated by financial statement and SAR (33%)
