Our Scholars & Donors

Thank you for believing in me and my potential. I am committed to making the most of this great opportunity you have given me.
Our family wanted to create a scholarship that recognizes community service and volunteerism, but we didn’t know where to start. Thanks to the Education Foundation, we’re now supporting amazing students every year as they strive to improve the world around them.
This scholarship provides me with the means to pursue my educational goals but also motivates me to give back to this community. I am eager to honor your investment in my future.

Family Literacy Night

Literacy Night is a new program that helps students build reading skills by working with parents to support reading at home. The pilot implementation of this program resulted in all participating students reading at or above grade level. In 2025, the Opportunity Fund provided funding to enable the district to launch Literacy Night at all elementary schools.

Air Quality Monitoring Grant

"Air, like food, water, and shelter, is critical for survival, and yet we rarely think about it due to its "invisible" nature. Additionally, unlike the other essential items mentioned above, we can't really "pick and choose" which air we breathe. It impacts us all. As such, studying air quality is a fantastic lens through which we can engage students in not only learning about the air, but also chemistry, earth and space science, and how we can be engaged citizens."
