Our Scholars & Donors

Thank you for your continued support of the arts in our schools. You have let me be creative with the kids and my program is flourishing because of it.
Both Rod and Mary Anne were recipients of college scholarships which allowed them lengthy careers in seminary education. "Establishing a scholarship fund is one way we can provide that same boost to current students".
You are helping me fund my life dream of giving back to the community who raised me!

Program Highlights

Parkdale Elementary grant project

Making Meaning in Math

"Parkdale Elementary has witnessed increased engagement and interest in mathematics. The read alouds, games and manipulatives have provided increased opportunities for real life connections to be made. In addition, they have fostered deeper understanding of mathematical concepts for many students. The impact of the Making Meaning in Math grant will continue to be seen for years to come."

Tiny Home Builders

"Students like to build stuff! … It is a model that brings out the best in students. They bring their best energy to a big, bold project that gives them a real sense of satisfaction and accomplishment. … Our goal was to finish this current tiny house build by the end of the school year, using the sales of the home to fund future year's builds."

Skatemaker Class

"Skatemaker started as an after school club 10 years ago. Throughout this project, students design and fabricate a custom skateboard to take home and enjoy. It is a perfect STEAM project, as it authentically calls on students to use creative problem solving to make a meaningful product. Since the projects inception, it has grown into a class during the school day. … This project offered a learning experience students will never forget. We started with glue, maple veneer, sand paper, and jig saws. We ended with beautiful custom skateboards, healthy modes of transportation and budding builders, designers and engineers."
