An Evening with Melissa Manchester
Melissa Manchester is a Grammy-winning singer-songwriter who has been making timeless music that has resonated with fans for 50 years. Her first Grammy nom came in 1979 for “Don’t Cry Out Loud” and her first win came 4 years later for “You Should Hear How She Talks About You” (Best Pop Female Vocal Performance). Her songs have been recorded by Barbra Streisand, Roberta Flack, Dusty Springfield, Alison Krauss, Kenny Loggins, and many others. She has written tunes for several other films including The Great Mouse Detective, Lady and the Tramp II, Dirty Girl, and Tyler Perry’s For Colored Girls.
Manchester’s most recent release, 2024’s Re:View, revisits several of her charted hits with some grand guest artists, including Dolly Parton, Kenny Loggins, and Dave Koz.
