And the winner of the 2025 Car Raffle is Mr. Rich Kleitsmann of Parkdale! Mr. Kleitsmann must have been feeling lucky while grocery shopping at Rosauers – where he purchased his raffle tickets – because name was drawn during the live raffle event at halftime of the October 24 HRVHS Varsity Football home game.
This year’s raffle was another big win for Hood River County schools, who raised over $36,000 total to support extracurricular programs, student clubs, and athletics. Volunteers from high school teams, parent-teacher organizations, and members of the Hood River County Education Foundation board came together to sell tickets and raise funds for our students.
Hood River Valley High School took the lead this year, raising nearly $16,000 for clubs, sports teams, and other extracurricular activities. The Mid Valley Elementary PTO continued their strong participation, doubling their ticket sales to $6,300 to help fund playground improvements, field trips, and student events. The Hood River County Education Foundation raised nearly $14,000 to support scholarships for HRV graduates, teaching grants for educators, and Opportunity Fund initiatives in our schools.
