The family of Jesse Elder has established a scholarship fund with the Hood River County Education Foundation. The fund offers one scholarship of $1,500 to 2nd – 4th year college students pursuing education at a two or four year institution. Students are also eligible to apply every year through their senior year.
CRITERIA
- Must have achieved a minimum 3.5 GPA their first semester freshman year in college
- Preference given to applicants pursuing a career in education or music
WEIGHTED SCORING
Students will be scored according to the % shown:
- Letter of recommendation (20%)
- Personal Statement (30%)
- Financial need (50%)
